Welcome to S.O.C. -US (“we,” “our,” or “us”). As a veteran-owned and operated medical courier business, we are committed to providing reliable and secure delivery services to clients across North and South Carolina. By using our courier services, you (“Client” or “Customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions.
Services Offered
We provide a variety of delivery services, including:
- Same-Day Delivery
- Regular and Scheduled Deliveries
- Rush and Emergency Deliveries
- Out-of-Town Deliveries
- Inter-Office Mail Network Services
We serve clients in the legal, medical/pharmaceutical, and general business sectors, with a focus on time-sensitive, confidential, and regulated items.

Service Area
Our courier services are available throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. Out-of-town deliveries beyond this region may be available upon request and subject to additional fees and terms.

Delivery Times and Commitments
While we make every effort to meet requested delivery windows, all delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless specified in writing. Factors such as weather, traffic, and other conditions may affect delivery times.

Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete pickup and delivery information.
- Ensure that all packages are properly labeled and securely packaged.
- Clearly identify any sensitive, hazardous, or regulated materials.
- Be available for scheduled pickups and deliveries.

Medical and Legal Deliveries
For medical/pharmaceutical deliveries, including lab specimens, records, or equipment, we comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations. Clients are responsible for ensuring that any materials handed over for delivery meet regulatory and legal standards for transport.
For legal document deliveries, we ensure a chain of custody upon request. Additional documentation and signature requirements should be specified at the time of scheduling.

Restricted and Prohibited Items
We do not accept for delivery:
- Illegal substances
- Firearms or ammunition
- Unlabeled hazardous materials
- Perishable goods (unless pre-approved)
- Currency or high-value items (unless pre-arranged with insurance)
Any attempt to ship restricted items will result in refusal of service and possible reporting to authorities.

Loss, Damage, and Liability
Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the cost of the delivery service, unless additional insurance is purchased. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Delays beyond our control
- Client’s failure to package or label materials properly
Clients are encouraged to insure high-value or sensitive items prior to shipment.

Billing and Payment
- Invoices are due upon receipt unless other terms are agreed upon in writing.
- Late payments may be subject to fees.
- Pricing is based on distance, delivery speed, package size/weight, and any special handling requirements.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service for non-payment.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 1 hour prior to scheduled pickup time. Same-day and rush deliveries cancelled after this window may be billed at full or partial rates.

Confidentiality and Privacy
We take privacy and confidentiality seriously. All employees and contractors are trained and held to strict standards, particularly when handling medical and legal documents. We maintain HIPAA-compliant procedures for all relevant deliveries.

Modifications
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website or communicated directly to clients. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of North or South Carolina.
